New time-lapse system ready for primetime.

TACOMA – Current Communications, Inc. announces the launch of our new time-lapse documentary system. The unique combination of old school 35mm still camera dependability with high-end digital content acquisition is producing stunning results on location in the Tacoma Narrows. The system is currently recording the lifting and placement of deck segments on the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

The system is housed in a self-contained, waterproof enclosure similar to an outdoor security camera. The unit’s electronics are powered by a single 110-volt connection through a battery backup system in case of power interruption. It is portable and lightweight with the flexibility for configuration into most interior and exterior environments.

The high-definition video clips are beautiful and dramatic. They can be used in marketing, security and legal documentation applications. Designed for the rigors of the construction industry, the system can also be used in TV/film production, nature/wildlife documentary, education and experimental art.
